Academic Profile:

She has been working as an Assistant Professor in English at Faculty of Commerce (SMPIC) since 2006. She has 19 years of teaching and training experience. She holds a doctorate degree in English Literature and Film Studies from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. She also holds M.Phil. in English with specialization in Indian English Literature. Her areas of interest in teaching and research are Communication Skills, ELT (English Language Teaching) and Film Adaptation. She has participated and presented papers in National and International Seminars. At Faculty of Commerce (SMPIC), she is the co-ordinator of A Certificate Course in English, Swami Vivekananda Study Circle, Personality Development Workshop, Public Speaking Workshop, Management Lecture Series, Inter-collegiate Literary Competitions and a member of PRISM(a college magazine) Editorial team. She also conducts English sessions of IBPS Exam preparation in A Certificate Course in Banking and Insurance in the college.
