Highlights: Dr. Parth Bhatt spoke on civil services exam. His talk was focused on GPSC, UPSC, IAS, IPS, IFS exams. Dr. Parth opined that the students have become increasingly aware and more focused on these competitive exams to build a lucrative career. He stated that the passing ratio has drastically come down to 0.18 % in the year 2010 and 0.08% in the year 2018. Earlier the trend was that the students appearing in these exams belonged to a particular region and a particular part of India but nowadays the students from across India are preparing for these exams along with pursuing their under graduate studies. He said, “Badi Soch, Badi mehnat aur pakka Irada” means “Think Big, Work Hard and keep a Strong Determination.” These are the three key ingredients to crack this hard nut. He said that keep your goal very clear right from the beginning and work extremely hard to achieve that goal. India needs young generation and young students who are responsible, honest and accountable to take the country forward. We need such kind of education system where in the character is formed, strength of mind is increased and the intellect is expanded. He gave a detailed explanation and insights on the syllabus, examination pattern, marking system and time duration of the UPSC and GPSC exam.
